• Game Used 1980s San Diego Chargers Cold Weather 24 OZ. Durene LS Jersey w/ Pockets

    Size Mens 54

Sam "Sammy", "Jack" Claphan was a 2X Natl. Champion at Oklahoma under Barry Switzer. He was 6'7" 295 lbs. (I'm wearing it in the photos and it has an amazing baggy but fitted look. I'm 6'4" 180lbs.) He had a decent career with the Chargers for 7 years and was retired into the American Indian Athletic Hall Of Fame in 1994 and passed away in 2001.

    Measures 28" from armpit-to-armpit and 35" from top-to-bottom

This unique style was rarely worn.. I believe in either 1986 or '87 during cold weather games. Made by Sporting Goods West out of Cypress, CA. Shows just average cracking to the numbers otherwise in excellent shape. Jersey is made of a heavyweight durene and weighs in at 24 oz.! Super high quality made jersey that also features ribbed cuff sleeves and hand warming kangaroo pocket.
